Recommendations to improve nursing care

Abstract

The current need to improve the practice of nursing, expressed by public and private health schools, schools and institutions, led the National Commission of Medical Arbitration (CONAMED) to initiate the preparation of these recommendations, for which a analysis of the complaints received in the CONAMED between 1996 and 2001. The adherence to these recommendations will serve to provide quality care, achieve adequate communication with the patient, family members and the interprofessional team involved in health care.
