Resumen
Introducción: en el cuidado para la salud ofrecido por el personal de enfermería, hay una brecha de conocimiento entre los productos generados a partir de la investigación y su adopción en los espacios de la práctica profesional. El abordaje de las barreras para transferir el conocimiento a la práctica por parte del personal de enfermería resulta un paso indispensable en este proceso.
Objetivo: analizar evidencia científica sobre las barreras percibidas por el personal de enfermería para la transferencia de conocimiento de investigación a la práctica profesional e identificar los instrumentos de medición utilizados para evaluarlas.
Metodología: revisión integrativa desarrollada según la Declaración PRISMA. La búsqueda se realizó en las bases de datos Elsevier, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Implementation Science y BMC Health Services Research. Fueron utilizados los siguientes términos DeCS/MeSH: Autoeficacia; Compromiso Laboral; Conciencia; Conocimientos, Actitudes y Práctica en Salud; Ciencia de la Implementación; Enfermería. Se seleccionaron artículos publicados entre 2010 y 2022 en español e inglés.
Resultados: de un total de 698 registros, se incluyeron en el análisis 11 estudios observacionales y 4 de implementación que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. Se reportaron barreras relacionadas con los conocimientos y actitudes de los profesionales de enfermería, y también con el entorno.
Conclusión: se reconoce que las barreras han sido poco exploradas desde la perspectiva de enfermería y su abordaje requiere mayor desarrollo.
Abstract
Introduction: In health care provided by the nursing staff, there is a knowledge gap between the products generated from research and their adoption in professional practice spaces. Addressing the barriers to the use of knowledge by the nursing staff is an essential step in this process.
Objective: To analyze scientific evidence on the barriers perceived by the nursing staff concerning the transfer of research knowledge into professional practice and to identify the measurement instruments used to evaluate them.
Methodology: Integrative review developed according to the PRISMA Statement. The search was carried out in the databases: Elsevier, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Implementation Science and BMC Health Services Research. The following DeCS/MeSH terms were used: Self-efficacy; Work Commitment; Awareness; Knowledge, Attitudes and Practice in Health; Implementation Science; Nursing. Articles published between 2010 and 2022 in Spanish and English were selected.
Results: Of a total of 698 records, 11 observational studies and 4 implementation studies that met the inclusion criteria were included in the analysis. Barriers related to the knowledge and attitudes of nursing professionals, as well as related to the environment were reported.
Conclusion: It is recognized that the barriers have been little explored from the nursing perspective and their approach requires further development.
