Abstract

Objective: Determining the satisfaction of the General Nurse in their labor acting.

Material is and methods: it was carried out a descriptive study, prospective in 58 General Nurses of base, from the services of Urgencies and Internal Medicine of the Hospital of Specialties No. 14 of the Medical National Center "Adolfo Ruiz Cortines" in Veracruz. A survey with 16 items was applied, the dimensions contemplated as indicative of Satisfaction were: acting of activities, economic remuneration, emotional satisfaction, aspects of work and interpersonal relationships.

Results: 44 nurses were studied, the 55 % (24) were from the service of Internal Medicine and the 45 % (20) of the service of Urgencies. The 46 % of the first group and the 45 % of second manifest be satisfied and the 54 % and 55 % partially.

Conclusions: The level of labor satisfaction of the general nurses of Internal Medicine is equal to that of the nurses of Urgencies, in the 3 shifts.
