Equality: Professional and social nurses commitment within the framework of the International Woman’s Day

Abstract

According to the history documented so far, there are data in which it is accepted that since the year 1910, at the Second International Conference of Socialist Women in Copenhagen, Denmark, Clara Zetkin proposed to institute March 8 as the Women´s International Day, to claim the political, civil and economic rights of all the women of the world; as well as, to honor and commemorate the memory and testimony of the struggle of a group of 129 American women workers, who died murdered for demanding equal pay and a 10-hour day. That in the matter of violation of Human Rights, is a reason for struggle today.
