National Strategy for Prevention and Control of Overweight, Obesity and Diabetes

As part of the commemoration of World Health Day in Mexico, on April 2, 2013 the Government of the Republic, through the Secretaría de Salud, said the steps to be followed to implement the National Prevention Strategy and Control of Overweight, Obesity and Diabetes. In September of the same year he published the first edition of the Strategy, which promotes the construction of a national public policy that generates healthy food consumption habits and doing physical activity in the population and involving the public and private sectors and civil society.
