Management and case of patients with stomas

Abstract

The nursing staff must be trained in the management of the appropriate techniques in the care of ostomies and how to prevent or resolve the complications that occur most frequently in order to provide the patient and their families with effective care and guidance that improves their quality of life, and allows him to fend for himself by integrating into his family environment, avoiding dependence on the institution, the nurse and his relatives.
