Abstract

The purpose of this work is to present the types of injuries that cause blunt chest trauma; that is, when there is no external evidence of injury and therefore they may go unnoticed if they are not intentionally sought, the history of blunt trauma should lead to suspicion of a heart contusion in every patient who comes to the emergency services.
