Abstract

The mexican nursing was for many years an art and a practice based on the general philosophy. However, the conception of its function has been changing considerably over time and it is until the last thirty years, when it has had to reduce its historical dependence on other health disciplines, in order to try to establish a conceptual framework that is his own.
