Abstract

Quality is related to the evaluative character rather than the descriptive. In this sense, the connotation of quality is a value judgment rather than the facts. What we seek with quality is the realization of positive values and the avoidance of negative ones, always mediated by the pursuit of excellence. Quality is therefore a value, which is not perceived directly by the senses, but is estimated through the daily act that each person performs; Valuing is an inevitable condition of human existence.
