The nursing education: a looking to the next millenium

Abstract

Now a days, there are many sectorial changes to improvement health services at some countries; it takes an important role in a new definition about police and administration to take as  a consequently greater power of decision. Within this transcendent changes it is establishing  a new police, juridical and economics judgments of finance. There are changes. At the organization in production of services to empowering the efficacy and guarantees quality. It is seen a new approach to information, manager, technical renew, working team and continuous education. There are topics related with nursing education about the right to the health, ethic, technical modernization and management, but the epidemiological changes and styles of life of population are important to obtain the best results. It is necessary to change nursing practice in order to take in account different visions that empowering the creation of theories and concepts according with the national and Latin American reality. There is special attention to family and community as the strongest stones to get the health-disease process. In conclusion, they are looking for practice oriented to three principals purposes: 1) ethic and scientific results as reasons of decisions, 2) the health as value with the significance for care and healing, 3) looking to the community with acceptance of diversity. In order to get these purposes, it is necessary: a) Development a new education for nursing, b) An effective model of continuing education, c) Search about the nursing care, d) It is necessary to establish links to becoming changes in professional practice.
