Abstract

A paradigm is one that demonstrates and delimits its field of action, allows a scientist-theoretician to act in the development of a framework of knowledge of its own with a unique and universal language among the members of a given scientific discipline. However, throughout history there have been destructive episodes that present themselves as crises, but contribute to scientific development; this is known as "paradigm shift", which results from an antithesis to what is traditionally accepted.
